Is it harmful to spend too much time on these networks?

Our partner NutriActis® has analysed the role of social networks in the promotion or prevention of obesity described in the scientific literature. While networks such as Instagram, Facebook or TikTok can be a source of contact, support and community, the images and videos presented can also be problematic because they can present an idealized vision of thinness. Spending too much time online usually comes at the expense of physical activity or sleep, which can lead to other health problems.
