EXPERIENCE

Dr. Santi F. Gómez is the Director of Programs and Research for the Gasol Foundation in Spain. He is a psychologist, with a Master’s degree in Community Health and Well-being, a Master’s degree in Health and a Doctor of Biomedicine with a thesis focused on the analysis of the prevalence, determinants and preventive interventions of childhood obesity. He is the principal investigator of several studies at the national level, and a professor at the University of Lleida (Spain).

We focus all our energy and resources on reducing the numbers of childhood obesity, and enabling us to achieve a world where all children enter adulthood with the physical and mental structure that will allow them to live healthy, productive and successful lives.

2010 – 2015 : Head of Evaluation and Research, Fundación Thao, Barcelona Region, Spain.

Child health program to prevent obesity through the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, for children from 0 to 12 years old and their families.

Psychologist and health technician developing several projects for the promotion of health, particularly around maternity, sexuality and reproductive health, and childhood obesity.
