The NutriActis Program®

  • The NutriActis plateform?

NutriActis® is an innovative program focusing on Eating Disorders (EDs) and obesity. This program will provide quality scientific content on these pathologies, allow for large-scale screening for eating disorders and obesity and their associated risk factors, and subsequently provide access to a prevention and intervention program.

Anxiety, physical activity and sleep are some examples of risk factors frequently associated with ED and obesitythat will be studied in the NutriActis® program.

In France, two versions of the program will be developed successively:

  • In addition to guiding participants in the self-care of their risk factors and possible comorbidities, the research programme will enable the analysis of new epidemiological data and the confirmation of research hypotheses on prevention and self-care programs.
  • NutriActis® will initially be launched in France in Fall 2021 and will then be expanded in other countries. This expansion in several countries will have several goals including a screening on a larger scale, the study of cultural differences and the optimization of ED and obesity care.
  • Since ED and obesity are multifactorial pathologies it is important, in the absence of ED or obesity, to take preventive actions on their risk factors. Indeed, these risk factors could, if untreated, evolve and promote the onset of these pathologies.
  • In case of obesity or probable ED, it is important to limit the on set and development of comorbidities associated with these conditions in order to optimize the care.

The NutriActis® program

  • The NutriActis® program will allow the creation of a personalized and secure profile on the NutriActis.org website and provide access later to self-assessment questionnaires and then to prevention and intervention programs on ED and obesity.
  • ED screening will be feasible through the SCOFF, a simple questionnaire composed of 5 questions and which detects the presence of ED :

For participants without obesity and/or ED(SCOFF -):

  • The prevention program will allow a self-assessment of ED and obesity risk factors, through standardized questionnaires.
  • Following this evaluation, participants will have access to appropriate self-prevention tools to reduce risk and adopt new lifestyle habits.

For participants with obesity and/or probableED (SCOFF +):

The intervention program will:

  • Assess the severity of comorbidities associated with these conditions
  • Provide appropriate self-care tools to helpparticipants in the development of suitable skills
  • Confirm the diagnosis, via a visioconsultation with a healthcare professional
