Stiftung Kindergesundheit / Germany and Austria

Who are they ?
Since 1997, Stiftung Kindergesundheit (“The Foundation for Child Health”) has been committed to healthy growth for children and young people. They inform the public about health problems and work on prevention measures for kindergartens and primary schools. They favour professional exchanges between doctors and scientists, and provide their expertise on paediatric prevention.
As part of its cooperation with BNP Paribas Cardif, Stiftung Kindergesundheit has produced videos and podcasts that are available on YouTube and other platforms, in order to:
- Inspiring children to do more sports and outdoor activities
- Motivating children to eat/cook healthy foods
- Educating children to learn health-related skills
- Enabling children to have a healthy lifestyle
Why did we choose to join forces with Stiftung Kindergesundheit?
- Stiftung Kindergesundheit has a developed network in Germany and is supported by the German government. For example, their programme “Die RAKUNS” is broadcast in one out of three primary schools in Germany and their programme “Tigerkids” is broadcast in kindergartens.
- They are based on sound scientific knowledge and rigorously ensure the implementation of the program.
- Stiftung Kindergesundheit works to change habits in the long term by enabling children to provide them with the right tools and knowledge.
- Supporting Stiftung Kindergesundheit means helping to reduce social inequalities in access to culinary knowledge and health.
