BNP Paribas Cardif mentioned in UNICEF report published at the time of DAVOS
Over 2.1 billion children and adolescents are affected by non-communicable disease (ie. Obesity) and mental health conditions.
For healthier children today and a stronger world tomorrow, the time to act is now. We still have a chance to prevent millions of children from entering adulthood with the burden of preventable illness like obesity. This is why BNP Paribas Cardif is committed to preventing childhood obesity worldwide working with researchers, organizations and NGOs to change eating habits by training teachers and schools to deliver impactful health education for children aged 8 –12.
We invite you to read UNICEF’s new report highlighting the critical role the private sector can play in preventing noncommunicable diseases among children and young people. BNP Paribas Cardif is also mentioned on page 39 of this report, in order to illustrate the commitments that a company can make to fight against a public health problem such as obesity.
