Broccoli Pizza

PIzza

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 small broccoli
  • 2 eggs
  • 30 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 60 g grated mozzarella
  • 50 g pizza sauce
  • 130 g cheese of your choice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

PREPARATION

  1. Heat oven to 180 C. Cover a baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.
  2. Crush the broccoli in the food processor until you have a consistency similar to rice.
  3. Place broccoli in a large bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Microwave for 1 minute until cooked. Let cool, pour over a clean cloth and press until the broccoli becomes a dry ball.
  4. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, eggs, cheese and seasoning with a spoon until completely integrated. Pour the mixture onto the reserved baking sheet and form a ½ inch thick pizza crust.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and add pizza sauce and cheese. Then add the desired ingredients (vegetables or meat). Return to the oven and bake for another 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted. Let cool for 5 minutes before cutting.
